This project aims to produce 3 intellectual Outputs:
Intellectual Output 1 - "DISCoVeR Theatre" Network Platform
DISCoVeR Theatre Network is a transnational network of organisations in the field of CCIs, cultural and arts organisations, VR tech companies, senior services institutions, NGOs, and other stakeholders committed to cooperating to make the digital space more inclusive for seniors. The Network will prompt, facilitate, and support the creation of local and regional networks including local theatres, local volunteer organisations, local public authorities, and local radios and TV Channels, and other local stakeholders to ensure a meaningful impact of the project on the small (local) scale.
The current platform that you are visiting is the first intellectual output. It will also integrate all the materials produced within IO2 and IO3, such as the Senior Outreach and e-Engagement Training Format, the Senior Outreach Campaign Plan, and the Participatory VR Theatre Script and Handbook.
It will publish news and articles related to the project topic and will continue to do so after the project’s end.
Addressing skills and competences necessary an effective outreach/engagement strategy that CCIs operators that are working with technology such as VR can use to expand their outreach and audience, especially within the context of Covid-19 crisis, and with a specific focus on senior citizens. It includes a module on how VR can be used for engaging seniors in creative and cultural activities (such as VR painting or storytelling). This will have the long-term aim of contributing to making the digital transition of CCIs inclusive and accessible for all.
Intellectual Output 3 - "DISCoVeR Theatre" Script and Handbook
This Output concerns the realization of a Participatory VR Theatre performance, by use of an innovative methodology combining Participatory Theatre with Virtual Reality. It includes a theatrical Script and a Handbook.
